Being part of an interfaith family means more celebrations and reasons to be grateful. As an event planner, this makes me very happy. We get to set beautiful tables, peruse family recipes, and dream of pretty outfits to wear.
We are all doing our part and staying home much more than we are used to so it is more important now than ever to add lovely thoughtful touches to your home.
Inspired by our “Flower Girl Adventures” at the Mercado in Madrid, Spain
This season, join us for a Whoville-inspired photoshoot and set design!
Let us take the pressure off and help you host your small, intimate gatherings this Holiday season.
We know you want to capture priceless moments with your children to last a lifetime so why not go all festive this year?
Entertaining has changed a lot due to the current state of the world. No longer are we packing into crowded bars or hosting 20+ people on the weekends. Adapting and only having small gatherings to keep ourselves and others safe does not mean you can’t make it elegant, cozy, and memorable. And of course, we love any occasion to dress up and look out best!
Like most of us, you’ve probably been wondering how you are going to pull off your usual festivities this fall. Since traveling or having guests can be risky during this pandemic season, many of us will be staying home with our immediate families this year. We put together a simple entertaining guide with recipes and fall fashion so you can still throw fabulous and safe Autumn celebrations right at home.
We want to share with you the-off-the-beaten-path finds along with the more popular tourist attractions! From a great recipe we brought back from the Yucatán, to a private garden tour in Old San Juan, our favorite flower show in Philadelphia, Operas in NYC, the cutest little Easter rabbit hole up the road in the most charming village with lunch nearby at a historic Inn, to our favorite hotels in Prague and so much more. We have you covered!
Do we really have to choose between Love and Lust!? Carrie and Big certainly didn’t! Can we please have it all? Can you keep it HOT after the infatuation wears off!!! We think so!
This is a fun “Turkey” Cheese Ball that will add a little whimsy to your Thanksgiving Cheese Board. Kids love this fun, edible craft too!
Springtime in Washington, D.C. is glorious, surrounded by the heavenly scent of cherry blossoms that perfume the air, with views of national landmarks, the Tidal Basin, and much more. If you are looking for a quick getaway over Easter break, especially if you are in the states on the east coast, then Washington, D.C. is the perfect place.
Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day with your lover or with your squad, I say we do it up this year and go all out! After all the turmoil 2017 brought us, we deserve a little luxury! So let's drop some hints or treat ourselves to the good life as we ease our way into a brighter 2018!
Each Holiday season we spend a day at the world-famous Rockefeller Center ice skating under the most famous tree in the world. I book an early morning brunch at The Sea Grill, which is straight out of an enchanted Hallmark Christmas show. We prefer the 8:30 am seating while the city is still somewhat quiet on a Sunday morning.
If you enjoyed the beloved "Downton Abbey" series you will love this beautifully curated exhibition. You will be immersed in post Edwardian-English culture where the characters come to life. The Kitchen is recreated exactly like in the series and the fashion and styling is wonderful to see in person.
My love for New York City is endless, as are the many wonderful and joyous things this enchanted city has to offer. Although I love any day I’m in New York City, Christmas time is the most magical time to be here. Whether it's your first time or you have lived there your entire life, the shop windows are a welcoming sight to all who pass by.
I am not sure where this wonderfully creative cake originated from, so I cannot credit its original creator. I can, however, share my easy version of making a cake that your children and grownups will not only love but be impressed by. I have been making buried witch cakes for at least 15 years and my boys love it every time!

We are busy getting the gardens tidied up and making sure the pool is ready for months of day and evening soirées and breakfasts on the terrace. It’s also time to change up the wall color in our kitchen. We live in a 200 year old refurbished and expanded Carriage House. Although it is historic and old, my style is traditional yet fresh and pretty with lots of flowers and soft colors. I always say I love chic and I love antique.

We recently styled and produced a fashion photoshoot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I always research before for we shoot on location and am fortunate to have traveled to Philly many times. Philly is a city rich in history, culture, food, sports, and shopping. Inhabited by the Lenape and then founded in 1682 by William Penn, Philadelphia became an important city in the American Revolution.
Enjoy personal styling and fashion tips by stylist and personal shopper, Michele Rosenthal. Browse the collection while the beautiful new interior decor inspires you. Mingle with our models and let fashion photographer, Christen Holly, teach you some tricks of the trade…

There is a chill in the air, a few leaves left on the trees, and the cozy scent of wood-burning fireplaces that fills the air. Feeling both at peace, yet knowing this is the calm before the Holiday rush begins. We kick it off with Thanksgiving and seem to run on overdrive until we take a breath around January 1st (if we are lucky and can relax for a few moments)!
Our Flower Girl Adventures continue in New Orleans. Here, we share not only the more famous tourist attractions but also the hidden gems. Our “Off The Beaten Path” tips are for the discerning traveler who wants to immerse themselves in the culture. Visit a converted church decorated flawlessly (and with the BEST ice cream), find incredible barbecue shrimp, buy antiques on Royal Street, take private garden courtyard tours, enjoy amazing jazz, and much more.

I was recently invited to stay at the newly restored Queensbury Inn, located in historic Glens Falls, New York. Growing up around the corner from this quaint town in Upstate New York, the Queensbury Inn holds a special place in my heart. I went there as a child with my grandparents and family so I was especially thrilled to visit the beautifully restored hotel.

We have wine tasted all over the world, from Napa Valley, France, Italy, Greece, the Finger Lakes, and beyond. I love tasting wines from all over, better understanding the “terroir’s” unique importance on the taste of the wine, the unique grapes from each region, the wine-making process, food pairings, and of course the deliciousness.
We started our day on a Tuesday afternoon up on the rooftop bar at Loopy Doopy, with lovely views of the water and a nice breeze. You can choose various cold cocktails and beer or as I do their famous Loopy Doopy Prosecco ice pop cocktails. You choose between a rosé or prosecco base and then whichever popsicle choice you like. I love the peach mint prosecco.
We arrived on a very snowy early morning, so snowy in fact that our plane was rerouted to the opposite end of the island. According to the map it seemed as if we flew up over the arctic circle before touching down safely. While some on the plane seemed annoyed by the delay, I thought it made the adventure even more exciting!

Saratoga Springs in upstate New York is a delightful Victorian town with a vibrant social scene. It has an eclectic art scene with a variety of shops, gourmet restaurants, and European-style patisseries. There are many bars where you can dance the night away.

Magdalena's hands were trembling, she was down on the antique brick floor in her parent's garden room picking up pieces of terra cotta. She was careful not to get small broken sharp bits into her knees. Magdalena was jet-lagged and nervous that she dropped a gorgeous Terra cotta pot filled with her favorite Apple Blossom scented geraniums. The garden room was perfumed with a variety of cherry blossoms that her mother brought in from their orchard to force into huge flowering branches. They reached up to the ceiling surrounded by glass windows that allowed the sun to shine in on the plants for hours each day. There was also an abundance of scented orange blossoms, small fruit trees, boxwoods, roses, a collection of scented geraniums, and a variety of fern and flowers that her mother wintered over. The room was filled with antiques from the Paris flea market, her mother adored the Marché aux Puces St-Ouen de Clignancourt and she decorated this room with the treasures she found in Paris and all over the world. Magdalena could spend hours in this enchanted Garden Room listening to the bird sing, enjoying a cup of tea in the morning, a glass of champagne in the evening and she often did, that is when she was home.

Brooklyn's iconic waterfront has the most unsurpassed views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building, Freedom Tower, and The Statue of Liberty. Old fashioned yet chic and trendy, Dumbo's (District Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) plentiful boutique shops, fine dining, and art scene bring together the most spectacular melting pot of culture.
