This is a fun Turkey Cheese Ball that will add a little whimsy to your Thanksgiving Cheese Board. Kids love this fun, edible craft too!
Ingredients:
2 (8-ounce) blocks white cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese softened
1 (8-ounce) container chive-and-onion cream cheese
2 teaspoons paprika
½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and chill for at least an hour
Shape into a turkey using our photo as a guide
Making the body and then a small head
Roll the body in slivered almonds, you can toast them if you like (I didn’t)
Apply the head with a long wooden skewer
Arrange pretzel sticks for feathers
Add a few almonds to the top of the turkey’s head
Cut a raisin in half and make little eyes
Add one whole almond for the nose
Cut 6 short thin orange bell pepper slices for the feet
1 small piece red bell pepper, zigzag cut
Serve with crackers
