I begin writing the editor's letter in the Adirondack Mountains on a sunny day surrounded by mountains that meet the shimmering lake water seamlessly. At the same time, boats sail by with a wave in our direction with that relaxed summer feeling and nostalgia. I grew up in this beautiful part of the world, and it is a peaceful place to write.
